One aim of the AVK Innovation Award is to promote new products / components or applications made from fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP) and to promote new methods and processes for the manufacture of these fiber composite products.
With this award, the jury honors the innovations developed by Fiberpipe for the production of GRP pipes using the centrifugal method. In particular, the significant reductions in emissions in the production process set a new standard.
By manufacturing the pipes in a closed process (closed mold), the evaporation of monomers is prevented and the protection of employees and the environment is raised to a new level.
We would like to thank the AVK, the jury and everyone who supported us with words and deeds over the three years of development.
