MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES CONFIDENTLY – FIBERPIPE GMBH CELEBRATES ITS ANNIVERSARY WITH FULL ORDER BOOKS

Stolberg, December 2008. Annual sales growth of around 35 percent: Large international orders are the norm for Fiberpipe GmbH from Stolberg near Cologne – more and more companies are discovering the investment advantages of fiberglass pipelines. Founded in October 2003, Fiberpipe GmbH developed into a successful company: In the last five years, the medium-sized company has increased its sales by several million euros to over four million; Fiberpipe is currently hiring new employees.

“We are growing by more than 30 percent in 2009; We cannot speak of a crisis ”, says Alexander Bamberger, owner of Fiberpipe GmbH. Fiberpipe almost should have slowed down the steep success. The constantly growing demand and numerous new projects required more space. That’s why Fiberpipe has just moved: the warehouse and office are now under one roof in a grown industrial area in Stolberg near Cologne on over 700 square meters. “Now we’re finally hiring new employees for the office and warehouse,” says Alexander Bamberger happily.

Fiberpipe is also celebrating the company’s anniversary with an Advent donation. “We donated 5,000 doses of vaccine to UNICEF at the age of five, 3,200 doses of polio vaccine and 2,000 doses of measles vaccine.” After all, you have to share your success, says the owner.

With which unique selling proposition does pipe sales score internationally? Flexible assembly, low weight and particularly easy handling make fiberglass tubes interesting. As a particular strength, the robust material leaves nothing to be desired in terms of chemical resistance or high pressure loads. Large companies like Esso have long appreciated the price advantages associated with practicality – the fiberglass pipes are slowly changing market habits.

The easy shortening and cutting of the light tubes leads to particularly low transport and assembly costs. Compared to other materials, the fiberglass tubes almost always come off as the most economical and cheapest overall investment by far.

SUCCESSFUL GLOBALIZATION

Fiberpipe customers appreciate the precise German engineering and the reliable project management made in Germany. The products are manufactured cheaply by internationally experienced and renowned manufacturers and partner companies at the best market price. Fiberpipe is independent of its suppliers and uses them flexibly and as required, for example in Singapore or Saudi Arabia. Another advantage of the worldwide production is the low transport costs to the international project locations.
