FIBERGLASS PIPE SPECIALIST FROM STOLBERG AT HANNOVER MESSE FOR THE FIRST TIME – FIBERPIPE GMBH: MILLION SALES WITH SINGLE ORDERS

In 2009 alone, Fiberpipe GmbH increased its sales by 25 percent. The pipe specialist achieved the largest single turnover with a cooling water pipe in Turkey: at 3.1 million euros, this was the company’s largest single industry order to date. For companies from the energy, chemical industries and the process industry, Fiberpipe GmbH is now also presenting itself for the first time at the Hannover Messe.

At the joint stand “tech transfer – Gateway2Innovation” in Hall 2, Stand D12, entrepreneurs can find out from April 19-23 at the Hanover Fair why fiberglass tubes are on the advance in industry: The material is insensitive to smoke gases, heat, Chemical and force exposure. Low weight and advantageous processing properties enable quick assembly, which brings price advantages. All dimensions as well as the desired properties can be determined individually. The products do not corrode, are pressure-resistant and highly resistant to hostile environments. The extreme longevity of all fiberglass tubes and containers guarantees optimal investment security.

LOGISTICAL CHALLENGE

For this reason, the Turkish energy giant Enerji SA 2009 relies on fiberglass pipes from Fiberpipe GmbH. A cooling water pipe had to be built in Bandirma, Turkey. The gas power plant there was equipped with 1,600 meters of piping, 310 meters of which were DN2400 and 130 meters of DN2000 pipes with an internal diameter of over two meters, which you can comfortably stroll around in. 60 truck loads – a logistical challenge.

“Flexible assembly, low weight and particularly easy handling make our fiberglass tubes interesting for investors,” says entrepreneur Alexander Bamberger, explaining the special features of his products. Other large companies such as Esso or Kali und Salz have long since appreciated the price advantages associated with practicality.
