Challenge
Corrosion-Resistant and Pressure-Resistant Pipe Systems for a Modern Refinery
Miro Refinery Oberrhein, Germany’s largest fuel refinery, planned the rehabilitation of its wastewater system. The existing pipelines needed replacement as they could no longer withstand the extreme stresses from temperature, pressure, and chemical corrosion. Additionally, the construction period had to be minimized to reduce operational disruptions.
Solution
Custom GRP Pipes with High Durability
Fiberpipe developed a GRP pipe system designed to meet both chemical and thermal requirements. The pipes were engineered to handle temperatures up to 125°C and pressures up to 16 bar. Through precise planning and the delivery of fully prefabricated components, the installation was carried out efficiently and accurately.

Planning and Execution from a Single Source
In close collaboration with Miro Refinery, Fiberpipe analyzed the requirements for the new pipelines. In addition to material selection and the creation of a detailed installation plan, Fiberpipe also carried out on-site installation. The team coordinated all steps from manufacturing to assembly to ensure a smooth process.
