Challenge
Replacing the Cooling Water Cycle in the Shortest Possible Time
Enertec Hameln, operator of a waste-to-energy plant with biomass power generation and district heating, required a complete replacement of the cooling water cycle as part of a capacity expansion. The challenge was to provide a solution that could withstand high pressure requirements and be implemented within a tight timeframe.
Solution
Innovative GRP Pipe System for Enhanced Installation Efficiency
Fiberpipe designed a custom GRP pipe system with a pressure resistance of 4 Bar and a ring stiffness of SN 10,000. To minimize installation time and costs, a specialized push-fit system with double O-rings was used, enabling quick and efficient pipe connections.

Following a detailed needs assessment and the creation of a testing and approval plan, Fiberpipe managed the production and delivery of the GRP pipes. Installation was completed in just five days, allowing the plant to resume operations on schedule.
